Steel Redfish

No matter if you call it Sciaenops Ocellatus, Redfish, Spottail, Red, Spottail Bass, Drum, Red drum, Puppy Drum (if they are young), or Channel Bass, you got a fight on your line. Commemorate your catch with one of our hand shaped and sculpted steel Redfish. Any fish safely and quickly released can now be replicated as a piece of art. The Redfish will sometimes bare special markings and spots on its tail and entire body, making each fish unique. Barely dodging extinction, the Redfish was nearly whiped out when Blackened Redfish became popularized dish  by a New Orleans Chef in the 80's. This fish is so important to the state of North Carolina, that in 1971 it was officially declared the saltwater fish of the state. It is coveted among anglers from the Atlantic Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico. There are even tournaments such as the IFA (Inshore Fishing Association) Redfish Tour ,The Elite Redfish Series, and the Tito's Vodka Redfish Series all boasting prizes and earnings. So what's the big deal about this fish with so many names? If you are asking this question, you probably have never seen your rod double over and line go screaming off your reel. Take my advice, contact a legitimate boat captain and get out there and go fishing and join the fun angling for the fish I grew up calling a Spottail Bass.  Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia , and on down the east coast to Florida.  Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, and into Mexico, you can find fishing guide services to help you land one of these beauties. Then  allow our metal taxidermy techniques and expertise to capture the essence of the catch. Mounted fish are boring and easily deteriorate over time, but not our metal fish creations.  Contact us with your special order today.
